Philanthropy

15+ years of volunteering has enabled me to forge connections with other passionate volunteers, while fostering community building and extending a helping hand to those in need. It's deeply gratifying to invest my time, skills, and compassion into causes close to my heart, nurturing a sense of purpose and fulfillment, while providing vital assistance to others who are on their journey to heal. Additionally, I am grateful when able to support fundraisers and donation drives for important causes where the goal is to better the quality of life for others.

Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse (PICAA)

2017-2020

PICAA is committed to ending assault and abuse through prevention, education, and community development, while promoting emotional and physical healing for children and adults victimized by interpersonal violence. As a volunteer Victim Advocate, I worked closely with Forensic Nurse Examiners at five participating Snohomish County hospitals to serve children and families in crisis.

Community Volunteering

2008-2016

I've volunteered for humanitarian causes, from fundraising to providing meals and hygiene packages for others experiencing hardship and insecurity. I believe in the importance of giving back and supporting vulnerable communities. I've learned that even small acts of service can make a significant difference in someone's life. Some examples include:

  • Fundraising Volunteer, Shephard's Counseling Services, 2014 - 2016

  • Food Drive Volunteer, James ST Homeless Camp, 2013

  • Culinary Volunteer, Fir Wood Group Home, 2010

  • Culinary Volunteer, Seattle Union Gospel Mission Women's Shelter, 2008
